09.16.10It's Finally Here!

The long awaited CD is here and we are very excited about the fresh sounds of Shabbat Unplugged! Cantor Jodi, Steve Justin, Todd Sheldon, Gerry Rollock, Don Levy and myself are thirlled at the way producer Michael Simon made us sound from the bima at Temple Beth Am in Framingham, MA. You can click on the "listen" section to hear all 10 of these wonderful songs. The actual CD is available for purchase at the Temple Beth Am office on Plaeasant St. Watch for the piano/vocal sheet music for these songs here very soon!

06.29.09ACC/GTM CONVENTION IN CHICAGO

I am at the GTM convention at the Westin Michigan Ave. Hotel in Chicago from June 28th to July 2nd. Cantor Jodi is here as well. Have met many wonderful cantors in just one evening along with Jayson Rodovsky, president Transcontinental Music and Ben Steinberg, composer extraordinaire. I'm eagerly awaiting the performance of my original piece Adon Olam at the Peer Workshop on Wednesday afternoon. Stay tuned!

05.30.09Another Shabbat Unplugged Hit!

Last night at TBA, the world premiere of Mi Chamocha was peformed at the Shabbat Unplugged service. Stan has written a unique rendition of this piece offering a samba feel and a catchy melody which Cantor Jodi executed with perfection. This one should catch on. Stay tuned...

05.06.09Adon Olam Heading To Chicago!

Adon Olam, the 6th song of our Shabbat Unplugged Service, is being presented at the GTM convention in a composer's workshop. Stan is very excited to have this honor and gain some national recognition of his works. The convention is June 28th - July 2nd.

05.01.09First Jewish Salsa Debuts May 29th

Stan took a chance and it will pay off on Friday evening, May 29th when the salsa version of Mi Chamocha is performed at Temple Beth Am's Shabbat Unplugged services. This lively beat best depicts the jews as they are praising God for their release out of Egypt as they are crossing the Red Sea to freedom. Come celebrate the sabbath with us for the world premiere of Mi Chamocha.

04.12.09Video of Rehearsal

My son Adam shot some incredible video at our rehearsal before the Shabbat Unplugged Service this past Friday evening. Thank you, Adam, for this creative visual and audio of our original pieces for our upcoming CD. Please visit the video section by clicking on the Gallery Tab to the left.
Stan is going back into his studio tomorrow and is not coming out until two more songs are written for our May 29th Shabbat Unplugged Service at TBA.
Stay Tuned!
